Baamboozle

Heelloo...!!!

I apologize for not uploading anything for months. But, no worries, I am going to start uploading again soon.

Maybe during my hiatus, some of you felt that I won't be uploading anything anymore. But, I believe that you have been bamboozled. So, as a form of reconciliation (fancy words there), I will share about Baamboozle. It is a website for making games for your lesson. So, without further ado...

"What's this? Are you trying to bamboozle us again?"

No, of course not. Why would I ever do that. This website is a real website you can use to make fun games for your students. The games in the web is focused on cooperation between students. So, in order to do the game effectively, you need to display the game using a projector. Before you ask, no, the games don't involve bamboozling your students.

"Well, that still sounds interesting, how does it work?"

Just follow these simple steps, and you are ready to go?

1. Access the website using the link: https://www.baamboozle.com/

After accessing, the link you will see this on your display. You can either select "Join for free" to make a new account or "sign in" to access your account.

2. Creating your game

After making an account or signing in to an account, you will see this screen. Here, you can press the "+ game" button to make your game.

After that, you need to fill the details for your game in this screen. You can also add images to make your game more interesting.

Next, you fill out the questions you want to give to your students. Beware that the options for multiple choice questions are auto-generated unless you are willing to pay for the premium (I know...). After you are done, you can click save then close.

3. Playing the game

To access the game, you only need to open your game library and click your game.

You can simply click play, and present your screen to your students. Done! you are ready to play with your students.

That's easy right?

Now, let's go to the pros and cons as always.

The pros:

1. The order of your questions are randomized. So, you can use your games a lot of times.

2. The games are interesting and fun.

3. The games promote cooperation between students.

4. Your students don't need an account to play the games.

The cons:

1. The PREMIUM plan is expensive (why do they always do this? God knows). As of now, you only have two games that can be accessed for free.

2. Long answer open-ended questions are impossible to do.

3. Making the questions is a little bit confusing for me.

4. Multiple choice options require premium account to make.

Well, that's the end for this article. THANK YOU....!!! (This is the first time I make a closing).

  1. HAHAHA. That's funny, you recognized your closing part. In any case, I recently had the chance to use the Bamboozle tool for a project and I am really impressed with the results. It was really easy to use and the output was amazing. It also saved me a lot of time and effort as it automated a lot of the processes that I would have otherwise had to do manually.
